Tonight I have to cry just a little...

Bedtime around here is pretty crazy. One of the kids is bound to not want to go to sleep and keep the other up and I'm forever having to go in there and tell someone to get back in bed or lay down and go to sleep. Tonight I went in to get Reagan settled back down and Daniel is sitting on his bed and says in his small little voice, "My Daddy has to go to Alaska to work. He'll be back in a minute?"
Oh my little boy, how I wish it could be a minute for you! How do you answer a question like that? The separation is hard but it is good to know that he misses his Dad.
